Ray White New Zealand has been selected as the exclusive agent to partner with Warner Bros International and MediaWorks on the sixth season of the hit reality TV show The Block NZ in 2017.

A Warner Bros spokesperson confirmed Ray White had been chosen as the preferred exclusive agent for the 2017 season.

“We are excited to have Ray White on board with us as the new exclusive agents for The Block NZ and we are confident they will do a fantastic job marketing and selling these spectacular homes,” said a spokesperson of the producer, Warner Bros.

Ray White New Zealand CE Carey Smith said he was delighted that Ray White had been chosen as the preferred agent for Season 6 of The Block NZ through Warner Bros International and MediaWorks.

“I want to pay special thanks to our regional manager Farah Jacobs, who secured this opportunity, so we could partner with The Block NZ,” Mr Smith said.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our crisp clean new-look brand and our growing network across New Zealand. The Block NZ connects with an aspirational audience through the process of building, marketing and selling of four homes which are located together in Northcote, Auckland.”

“This is a great opportunity for our North Shore business in respect of profile and to support a collective commitment outcome of success.”

The Ray White Group has shortlisted four agents on the basis of their elite status, then secondly location to the properties at Northcote.

Our confirmed agents are Winnie Leung (Ray White Forrest Hill), Richard Kang (Ray White Pinehill) Glenn Carpenter (Ray White Beach Haven/Glenfield) and Lewis Guy (Ray White Takapuna).

The teams have 12 weeks to complete their homes. They’re the largest houses in series history, each with three plus bedrooms, three bathrooms and a double garage.

Each house also shares a stunning roof terrace which boasts spectacular views of the city, harbour and Rangitoto Island.
This year the footprint of the houses is almost identical, so the teams will need to really push the boundaries and showcase their design skills to earn the highest price on auction day.

The Block NZ airs Monday-Wednesday at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 7:00 pm on Three.
